Reading Jointly

An environmental book club

Do you want to discuss interesting environmental books with people all over the globe? Join the Reading Jointly book club! Every month we read an environment-related book and discuss it via discussion threads and a video meeting. This March we start with Less Is More by Jason Hickel. Joining is completely free.

How it works

March 2021: Less Is More by Jason Hickel

In March we are reading Less Is More by Jason Hickel. The book gives a compelling critique on why living in a world that is focused on endless growth leads to ecological collapse. Read more about it in the first post below. Structure of the book club:

How the book club works

One book a month
Each month we read an environment-related book. Recommendations are very welcome. You can let us know in the form when joining us.

Text-based discussion
For every book we create a text-based discussion thread. Here you can have a text-based discussion about the book with fellow members.

Video meeting
At the end of the month, we organize a video call to discuss the book with your fellow readers! You can sign up for this.

Be updated
We keep you up to date about the discussion threads, video meetings, and upcoming books via email. So don't forget to join!
