Join us to call unlikely-to-vote environmentalists ahead of their upcoming elections across the United States! At your first volunteer event you’ll receive a simple training on our phone banking program and the scripts we use to talk to voters. Once you're trained, you'll receive weekly updates with our current campaigns so you can volunteer on your own time. You can call for as many hours as you’d like within appropriate times in the voters’ time zone; there is no required minimum to participate. Ideally, we would like you to be available a few hours a week.
The Environmental Voter Project (EVP) aims to significantly increase voter demand for environmental leadership by identifying inactive environmentalists and then turning them into consistent activists and voters. EVP is a US-based non-partisan nonprofit organization. We do not endorse candidates or tell people how to vote. We have a much bigger goal - instead of trying to influence particular elections, we aim to fundamentally change the electorate so that policymakers must respond to the increased voter demand for environmental leadership. Our steady, movement-building approach is using proven techniques to bring environmental voter turnout to a tipping point of overwhelming demand for progressive environmental policies.
