Fashion Act Now is looking for a graphic designer to work alongside their creative director, copywriter and social media manager to create 1-2 Instagram posts per week. This position has the potential to expand into producing campaign assets such as flyers, posters and event banners.

We currently have around 13.000 unique visitors per month on our webpage and 15.800 followers on Instagram. We would like to monetize this traffic to be able to get some revenues for the organization to allow us to reach more people, in more languages and with other means such as events, university talks, etc. This would be our way to be economically sustainable.
Re-nourish’s project calculator helps designers minimize waste on any print project. It is used by designers all over the world, but is currently not available in the metric system. That is why they are looking for a volunteer who can help create this functionality. The application is built with PHP. If both Re-nourish and the volunteer is enthusiastic about the collaboration, there are future plans that are possible to implement. For example, currently the project calculator tool only works with rectangles, it would be interesting to use irregular shapes (for example for packaging design).
The SEO of the Refarmers website is not set-up completely, that is why we are looking for someone who can create an SEO strategy and implement this on our website. This could mean filling in the metadata, giving tips on how to restructure pages, and giving advice on where to use which specific words. When you Google us in some countries, another Refarmers sits at the first spot. For example, in Canada we have the first spot, but in France we sit at the second. We would love to overtake them in the ranking so our non-profit sits at the first spot when you Google us from every location. Within this project, you will communicate with Refarmers founder. At the moment, Climate Fiction Writers League does not have a distinctive branding. We are looking for someone who can help us with branding (logo, color usage, fonts, press packs, et cetera). It would also be great if you have the skills to implement these changes in our website, which is currently built in WordPress (http://climate-fiction.org/). We got access to a Google Ad grant for non-profits. As we have very limited experience with Google Ads, we are searching for an enthusiastic person who can help us manage the Google Ads. eBay allows sellers to donate from 10% to 100% of their income to a chosen charity, a few have picked our organisation and we get a small income each month from this source. We would love someone to join our team with the remit to connect with environmentally aware eBay sellers in order to build a large group who donate to our charity. This position can be performed from anywhere in the world and is very flexible on time allocated.
FNPF biggest difficulty as a small local NGO is to promote our organization and raise funds. None of the staff members has a background in PR work and Fundraising. At the moment FNPF is trying to have a condition "financially independence" at least to run the organization. One of our important tasks is ecotourism especially volunteer tourism activity. What we can not do much is about - promotion - get fund to build infrastructure that allows us to give better service to our potential volunteer candidate in order to make the program has a better bargaining position.

We are currently building a team of tree taggers to verify global reforestation projects and accelerate Greenstand’s machine learning team. The Tree tagger will help us review, verify, tag and label tree images. Thousands of pictures of young trees are uploaded to our verification platform. We need help figuring out what species the trees are by using the Computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT), a web-based image and video annotation tool which we use for tagging tree images for the development of advanced machine learning algorithms. We will train you in CVAT and our technical platform. This is a great opportunity for an interested individual to get their foot in the door of an annotation program.
Our organization is dependent on voluntary work on our project island Boa Vista, Cape Verde. The annual season goes from June until October. In this, we need volunteers that come to the island in order to help the locals with conservation work. We need someone to advertise this volunteer program more efficiently than we are doing it at the moment. How this advertisement looks like is up to the professional. The main thing should be that the measures work and that there will be more volunteers.

Een goede start is om naar de huidige website teksten te kijken en deze te beoordelen op “biedt de copy/content een oplossing voor het vraagstuk van de lezer?’ en ‘raakt de copy/content de lezer zo, dat deze actie onderneemt?’ Wanneer de eerste suggesties en aanbevelingen bevallen zal er meer werk zijn in de toekomst! We krijgen namelijk regelmatig teksten aangeleverd vanuit Engeland die vertaald kunnen worden, daarnaast zetten we ook regelmatig campagnes op waar teksten voor worden geschreven.

The E&U For The Climate website can use a makeover. Currently, there is quite a gap between our Instagram content design and website design, with the Instagram content looking more fresh and dynamic. We would like to connect with a web designer who can give the website a makeover and ideally also implement these designs. The website is built in Wordpress. Within this project, you will work closely with the three founders of E&U For The Climate.
We are currently developing a pipeline for data analysis processes such as automated species tagging and image QA. We are looking for contributors to help develop machine learning models for these processes as well as to help build an infrastructure for our data to be securely processed at scale. Skills that are essential are Python and some exposure to a deep learning libraries like PyTorch or Tensorflow is useful for modeling tasks. Experience with numpy/pandas or SQL are also useful. For those interested in infrastructure, any experience in data science pipeline engineering is useful, with tools like Apache Airflow and Kubernetes of particular use.

Your responsibilities are to deliver copy that sounds and feels natural in order to enable REVERB to communicate with live touring volunteers in their native languages. The copy consists of six emails to be translated, which will then be distributed by REVERB to volunteers in tour locations. The ideal translator would be able to translate from English into any of the languages listed below, in order for emails to feel natural and colloquial in the volunteer's native tongue.Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, Danish.

At your first volunteer event you’ll receive a simple training on our phone banking program and the scripts we use to talk to voters. Once you're trained, you'll receive weekly updates with our current campaigns so you can volunteer on your own time. You can call for as many hours as you’d like within appropriate times in the voters’ time zone; there is no required minimum to participate. Ideally, we would like you to be available a few hours a week.
